#Breathe F.I.R.E (Focused, Integrity, Respect, & Engaged in Learning)
At Denn John Middle School (DJMS), students are expected to wear their school-issued student ID visibly every day while on campus. Student IDs are a vital part of maintaining a safe and efficient school environment. They are required for identifying students, accessing school services, boarding buses, checking out library materials, and participating in lunch and hallway procedures.
Wearing your ID every day is part of our DJMS F.I.R.E. expectations and a reflection of student responsibility.
Students must wear their current DJMS student ID on a lanyard and keep it visible throughout the school day.
IDs are required for:
Bus transportation
Lunch lines
Media center checkouts
Hall passes
School events and activities
Lost or damaged IDs must be replaced immediately through the Dean’s Office.
We understand that everyone may forget sometimes. However, repeated failure to bring or wear a student ID will lead to progressive consequences.
Student will be asked why they don’t have their ID.
