Welcome to Dragon’s Den: DJMS School Clubs!
At Denn John Middle School (DJMS), we believe learning extends far beyond the classroom. Through Dragon’s Den, students have the opportunity to explore their interests, develop new skills, build friendships, and become actively involved in our school community.
What is Dragon’s Den?
Dragon’s Den is DJMS’s daily club and enrichment program held during student lunches in the Media Center. It provides students with a welcoming environment to connect with peers, pursue hobbies, and participate in engaging activities that support personal growth and leadership development.

Clubs at DJMS
Dragon’s Den offers a variety of student-centered clubs designed to appeal to a wide range of interests. Examples of clubs include:

Lego Club – Build, design, and explore your creativity through hands-on challenges.

Art Club – Draw, paint, and create alongside fellow artists.

Creative Writing Club – Develop stories, poems, and other creative works while strengthening your writing skills.

Anime Club – Connect with fellow anime enthusiasts through discussions and shared interests.
New clubs are added throughout the year based on student interest and participation.
Interested in Starting a Club?
DJMS encourages student leadership and creativity. Students interested in creating a new club may do so by following these steps:

Visit Ms. Cole in the Media Center before or after school to obtain a Club Application.

Meet the following eligibility requirements:

Be in good academic standing.
-
Have no more than two major discipline referrals.

Recruit at least three students interested in joining the club.
-
Ensure the club's purpose and activities are school-appropriate and suitable for middle school students.

Once approved, the club may become part of the Dragon’s Den program.
Please note that administration and Ms. Cole reserve the right to suspend, modify, or discontinue any club if student behavior, participation, or club activities do not align with school expectations and procedures.

Dragon’s Den provides students with opportunities to discover new interests, develop leadership skills, and connect with others who share similar passions. Whether you choose to join an existing club or create a new one, Dragon’s Den is an excellent way to become more involved in the DJMS community.
