Where Dragons Compete with Heart, Hustle, and Pride! #BreatheF.I.R.E
At Denn John Middle School, we believe that sports are a powerful way to build leadership, teamwork, discipline, and school spirit. Our athletic program offers a wide range of opportunities for students to compete, grow, and represent our Dragon pride across all seasons.
Whether you're chasing goals on the soccer field, sprinting on the track, or scoring on the basketball court, there's a sport for everyone!
Soccer (Boys & Girls)
Cross Country (Boys & Girls)
Volleyball (Boys & Girls)
Basketball (Boys & Girls)
Cheerleading (Boys & Girls)
Flag Football (Boys & Girls)
Track & Field (Boys & Girls)
Being a student-athlete at DJMS is about more than just competition—it’s about commitment, sportsmanship, and academic success. Our coaches support students both on and off the field, helping them stay focused, motivated, and prepared for high school athletics and beyond.
Participation in sports helps students:
Stay physically active and healthy
Learn time management and discipline
Build lasting friendships and team connections
Represent DJMS with pride and determination
Interested in joining a team? Be on the lookout for tryout announcements each season. Students must meet eligibility requirements, maintain good academic standing, and demonstrate positive behavior both in class and on campus.
